Hello,

I was one of the attendees at the workshop. I was curious how easy it will be to restart a Cassandra 1.1 simulation using Cassandra 1.2. I am currently of the opinion that it might prove slightly difficult to do this, and am holding off on beginning new simulations until 1.2 comes out, but if it will be easy to restart them I might start them with 1.1 while I wait for 1.2.

Thanks,
Zeke

Hi Zeke,

The checkpoint file format will not change from 1.1 to 1.2, but there are a few differences in the input file format. We can guide you through that process if needed.

However, we hope to push 1.2 by tomorrow morning, so if you can wait a day, I'd recommend it.

Hello Ryan,

I just wanted to let you know, when I click on the link to the downloads page it still only shows 1.1 available (and the post on the news page about 1.2 still links to 1.1).

Thanks!
Zeke

Hi Zeke,

1.2 should be there now. You caught me in the middle of updating the different pages on the website, which took longer than I expected.
