Where is the read_old.py

According to the manual,if I want to resatart a simulation,I need to have the checkpoint file and the read_old.py.I ,however,cannot find read_old.py in the code I have already downloaded.So I am wondering if there is something wrong with the code I have already downloaded or something else.I would be much grateful for your kind help.

read_old.py has been deprecated. You can continue a simulation using the checkpoint file and the following section in your input file:
# Start_Type
checkpoint filename.chk
# Start_Type
checkpoint filename.chk
