Will you host another users workshop this year? Would it be in June?

Josh and other Cassandra users:

We have not yet decided whether to hold a workshop again this summer. Our NSF funding will expire (though we hope to get a renewal), and so if we do hold a workshop we will not be able to provide travel or registration support. We are wondering: would you be interested in attending a workshop on campus if we were not able to provide support? If enough people say they would like to attend, we can see about putting something together. Alternatively, we could explore putting on a virtual workshop / webinar.

I would still be interested if there were a registration fee involved and had to cover travel costs, but I certainly can see the impact if a grant was available for students and academia.

The virtual workshops are a good idea too.
