Hi,
I think it would be useful if Cassandra, like LAMMPS and GROMACS, had the capability to rerun simulations based on a dump file. As a workaround, I wrote a script that processes the big dump file into .chk files and feeds the snapshots one by one to Cassandra. This works correctly, but it's too slow. Is there a quick and dirty way to do this?
Thanks

Hello Mostafa,
Thanks for your suggestion!
The code has the capability of restarting a simulation using a checkpoint file. Would that be useful for you?
Could you explain a bit more what are you trying to accomplish?
Thanks!
